This is what Rockefeller Plaza looks like in the Spring time. Instead of an ice rink, they now have a small cafe area and outdoor seating. It’s even more beautiful in person.

It would ALMOST be worth the flight to NYC just for the frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity. This is THE Serendipity you hear about in the movies and on television and the frozen hot chocolate IS as good as they say it is.

This is the new Coach store on Bleeker Street. It was closed when we got there. They totally could have let us in.

This photo was taken right outside of the M&M store. If only an m&m that big existed.

Our flight from Knoxville took us directly to La Guardia International Airport and do you know the first place we went?? CARNEGIE DELI, that’s where! Our flight landed in NYC at 8pm, we took our luggage to the hotel and made a B-line to the deli!
We had a Reuben, and when I say WE, I mean all 4 of us. Janet, Jordan, Goldie and me…we all shared the sandwich because they are big enough to feed a small army. The sandwiches are great but the cheesecake is even better.
Seriously, this picture of Andrew holding our cheesecake DOES NOT DO THE CHEESECAKE JUSTICE. I’m not kidding. That piece of cheesecake was huge…and fabulous. YUM-O!!
Oh, and Andrew is our new best friend!

…to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday Dear Goldie (mom)! Happy Birthday to you!! So, if you haven’t caught on yet, it’s Goldie’s birthday today, Thursday, April 10th. She absolutely hates getting her picture taken but SOMEHOW we convinced her to let me snap this shot! Enjoy our flowers!
