If you go to the Community News section of the Wednesday edition of the Knoxville News Sentinel and look on page CN2 you will see two very familiar faces…Goldie and Janet! With them in the picture is our good buddy Shane Cox from Health First Fitness who is our next door neighbor and walking advertisement in Homberg. (I’ll post more about them later).
We are really excited to be featured in the business spotlight. I personally am excited to see what kind of response we receive from guys and gals who haven’t been able to find us since the move back in October 2006…can you believe it’s been almost 2 years?!? You’d be surprised how many people have called and said “I’ve been looking for you guys for ever”!
Well, you’ve found us!!

A few months back I contacted Elizabeth Pooley and asked (read: begged) her to feature the salon in the Business Spotlight section of the newspaper. I guess she got tired of hearing from me and gave in! (Hi Elizabeth!) We really had a great time with her this morning.
I don’t know specifically when The Hobby-Williams Salon will be featured, but I will keep you posted as I know more! For now, enjoy some of the pictures I took.

This is what Rockefeller Plaza looks like in the Spring time. Instead of an ice rink, they now have a small cafe area and outdoor seating. It’s even more beautiful in person.

It would ALMOST be worth the flight to NYC just for the frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity. This is THE Serendipity you hear about in the movies and on television and the frozen hot chocolate IS as good as they say it is.
